Green numbers = stone in situ / slightly out of place
Red numbers = out of place
At least 12 stones are preserved, 6 of them are in situ others are slightly, some even completely out of place. All are mostly hidden in the remains of the ransacked barrow. A few metres north west of the barrow 2 large erratic blocks (No. 13 and 14) are visible. Most probably they originally were part of tombs' structure.

Blawearie Cairn submitted by minteddy on 5th Dec 2006. This photo clearly shows two of the cysts within the cairn wall, I assum the large slab was a covering for one of the cysts. If you walk along the western edge of Bewick Common towards Chillingham you will stumble across the odd cyst in the heather. Do the Chillingham Cattle count as being Megalithic - they look very like cave paintings of cattle?

Situated in the village of Murthly, accessed via the B9099 from Luncarty on the A9, the circle is in an area known as Druid's Park (formerly Murthly Hospital). This circle lies 300 yards north east of the gate, in the private grounds of Druid's Park House. Permission should be sought from the occupants before entering, although when I visited this was readily and cheerfully granted.
