Country: England (Northamptonshire)
Visited: Would like to visit

Hunsbury submitted by LizH on 15th Jan 2005. Site in Northamptonshire
This picture shows the ditch with the banking on each side. However there has certainly been both silting and digging in the past so it is not clear how deep it originally was.

Humbleton Hill in North-Northumberland. The stones here, are part of the ramparts of a massive ringed hill fort, from about 300BC
Info on http://www.countydurhampartnership.co.uk/durhamcc/K2P.nsf/K2PDetail?readform&PRN=N1544
The hill was also the site of a bloody battle in 1402, where the invading Scots were annihilated by the English longbowmen, under Harry Hotspure.

Hülseberg Grosssteingrab
Trip No.11 Entry No.8 Date Added: 1st Oct 2010
Site Type: Chambered Tomb
Country: Germany (Lower Saxony, Bremen)
Visited: Couldn't find on 18th Jun 2005
Hülseberg Grosssteingrab submitted by AlexHunger on 13th Apr 2007. Probably completely destroyed chambered tomb. Only two smaller stones within 100 Meters of the expected position were found.
There is a lot of managed logging in the area involving heavy equipment, which probably didn't do the site any good.
