Sa Testa Pozzo sacro submitted by SolarMegalith on 7th Oct 2009. Pozzo Sacro Nuragico Sa Testa - on the right you can see a altar which was used for puting offerings. The monument itself was discovered by a group of shephards who were looking for water and it was excavated several times. The excavations brought artefacts from periods since nuragic one to Roman. The 9,10 m long corridor leading to the chamber is quite well preserved, but most of the capstones are gone (photo taken on September 2009).
