Pudding Barrow submitted by JimChampion on 8th Jan 2005. January 2005. Looking north-east at the Pudding Barrow. Composite image, camera resting on a post of the barrows protective fence: the only way to capture the barrow without the fence spoiling the view. Conifers of Stockley inclosure can be seen behind, with a camoflagued water-tank lurking in the trees to the right. I'll return to this spot in the summer, see how the ambience changes when the barrow is surrounded by caravans.

One of the finest examples of prehistoric rock art in the Peak District. Discovered in 1965 on a large earthfast boulder 25m east of the enclosure , the design consists of a series of cup and ringmarks together with a small spiral and two circles that enclose multiple cupmarks. Allée couverte de la Bellée submitted by binardino on 11th May 2006. Located in a private hunting wood, this passage grave is wonderful, especially the death divinity on the right stone of the entrance. Wonderful, you have an entrance hole and a capstone over the entrance the rest of capstones have disapeared. around 10 meters long and 1,5 wide.

in NNW-SSE orientation along the east border of the meandering river
Radegast, 4km NNW of the town Gadebusch.
It is a mixed forest, and you can enter it from the NNW end near Neu Benzin.
A small path leads you along the forests border, and you come along a number
of very old trees with almost 2m diameter.
