To reach the stone you can drive to Peathill farm, but to get close to the menhir you need to cross a field - unfortunately the owner of the land didn't leave any footpath to the monument. Tomba di Giganti Pascaredda - one of the best preserved Giant's Tombs in this area, wth 20 slabs and a large portal stone in the centre. Typical "Y" shape of the Giant Tomb is still perfectly visible (photo taken on September 2009).

Better known as the Penrhiw Burial Chamber this damaged tomb has a large rectangular capstone resting on 3 uprights. It was re-erected some years ago.
Shots from other angles would have been taken but a small herd of highly inquisitive bullocks is not conducive to creative composition or a steady camera hand!
