Country: Scotland (Aberdeenshire)

South Fornet submitted by SolarMegalith on 8th Oct 2008. Two most significant stones belonging to the remains of South Fornet Stone Circle. A beautiful tree looks like a guardian of the site. Besides these two menhirs there's a considerable amount of stones in this area but it's difficult to estimate if any of them is a part of stone circle as well.

Peathill submitted by SolarMegalith on 8th Oct 2008. Single menhir or remain of a stone circle ? In the current condition of the site it's difficult to estimate it. To reach the stone you can drive to Peathill farm, but to get close to the menhir you need to cross a field - unfortunately the owner of the land didn't leave any footpath to the monument.
