The chamber is situated some meters northeast of barrow`s centre. It is a hexagonal dolmen chamber with short passage (Typ IV) covered by an enormous capstone [1990].

The beautiful location (wood, the nice footpath leeds straight to the tomb) and the famous stone with cup marks (näpfchen) make it one of the most interesting megalithic sites in Germany. The barrow is still clearly visible.
