Circle 275 submitted by TheWhiteRider on 27th Jun 2006. After a difficult walk in extremely windy conditions the reward of coming upon this marvellous little circle and the promise of the Druid's Circle just beyond made it all worthwhile.

Four Stones (Powys)

Site Type: Stone Circle
Country: Wales (Powys)
Visited: Yes on 4th Jul 2005
Four Stones (Powys) submitted by TheWhiteRider on 4th Jul 2005. Four Stones Stone Circle in Powys. The circle is situated right by the road and there appears to be no access, although the grass had been trodden down around them. Despite this the circle is very impressive due to the sheer sizer of the stones.

Kinnerton
Date Added: 25th Jun 2012
Site Type: Standing Stones
Country: Wales (Powys)
Visited: Yes on 4th Jul 2005
Kinnerton submitted by TheWhiteRider on 4th Jul 2005. We could only find one of the Kinerton Standing Stones. This one, just visible in the long grass is right next to a footpath. The other, according to the map, is just a little way down the road, but appears to be on private land and is hidden by a high hedge and other foliage. A visit during the Winter months may offer a glimpse of it.

Old Radnor Church

Site Type: Standing Stone (Menhir)
Country: Wales (Powys)
Visited: Yes on 4th Jul 2005
Old Radnor Church submitted by TheWhiteRider on 4th Jul 2005. The Old Radnor Church Standing Stone. An unusual monument, this stone has had a gravestone carved into it with a date from 1931. Its antiquity must be questioned, but it would not be the first example of a Christian site springing up around a megalith.
