Site Type: Hillfort
Country: England (Shropshire)
Visited: Yes on 13th Jul 2005
Clee Burf submitted by TheWhiteRider on 13th Jul 2005. The only possible prehistoric earthwork that I could make out on the heavily quarried summit of Clee Burf looked similar to the corss ridge dykes of The Long Mynd or in the environs of Stapeley Common. Perhaps this small part of the Iron Age settlement has asurvived?
