Log Text: Take the D17a from Les Sablons, just past a car park on the right there is a gap in the hedge on the left leading to an open field. The dolmen is surrounded by a thicket of fairy thorns. A heavy jacket and gloves are recommended if you want to get close!

Log Text: Small dramatic dolmen but very overgrown. The chunky capstone has fallen at one end but still maintains a strong presence. Some of the uprights have fallen, but the one at the end is very impressive.

Log Text: From the D30 at a crossroads there is a wooden sign pointing the direction of the dolmen. Go up there 200 yards, then left into a field. The path leads alongside an electric fence, turns left and comes to two beehives. Here the fence has broken down and it’s possible to see and access the dolmen.

Log Text: It is possible to see both menhirs from the road. There is a house approach opposite the first menhir - we parked in this approach then took a photo when returning to the car.

Log Text: After our visit we were told by the tourist office that these stones cannot be visited because they are dangerous and on private land. Ignoring this advice seems like a good idea.

Menhir de Landre 1 submitted by thecaptain on 1st Aug 2008. This menhir stands up on top of its little hillock, about 70 metres to the side of the road. It was all well fenced in when I visited, behind a little cropped field, so I couldn't get to the stone. It looks about 2.5 metres tall

Log Text: There is a path giving access to this menhir. From the Planas Dolmen take the road towards Le Landre. The path goes off to the left and is waymarked as the route to Blandas.

Combes menhir submitted by thecaptain on 10th Dec 2009. It stands 3 metres tall, and is made of the most wonderfully weathered piece of limestone, full of holes and divots, with moss and lichens growing everywhere. It is quite a character.
