Trig point on the ancient enclosure, named 'Tlachtha' on the O.S. maps. Circular site defined by ditches and intermittent banks, best viewed from the air. Stupendous views in all directions to Kells, Cooley Mts, Hill of Slane, Hill of Tara, town of Trim, Dublin Mts.

Log Text: We climbed up to this nuraghe on a good path, made a number of years ago, which is now considerably overgrown. However, it is possible to climb up to the top, where we had a picnic.

Log Text: The walk from the road up a dirt track passes through a tunnel used asa are. The farm is guarded by noisy dogs, but they mostly left us alone. The menhirs have fallen and are mostly broken, but one or two are still impressive.
