Log Text: The walk from the road up a dirt track passes through a tunnel used asa are. The farm is guarded by noisy dogs, but they mostly left us alone. The menhirs have fallen and are mostly broken, but one or two are still impressive.

Log Text: We climbed up to this nuraghe on a good path, made a number of years ago, which is now considerably overgrown. However, it is possible to climb up to the top, where we had a picnic.

Ewden Beck is the most northerly of all the known sites in the Peak District to the north-west of Sheffield and west of Stocksbridge and marked on the map as ‘enclosure’.
