Créac'h Gallic
Trip No.13 Entry No.7 Date Added: 2nd Aug 2019
Site Type: Passage Grave
Country: France (Bretagne:Finistère (29))
Visited: Yes on 2nd Aug 2019. My rating: Condition 4 Ambience 3 Access 5
Créac'h Gallic submitted by TheCaptain on 17th Apr 2011. There are many large slabs around the outside, making a sort of wall, I could not make this out at all initially.
Seems it was once a large allée couverte with a peristalith surrounding its mound, some of which still survives.

Heading east on the A39 Lynmouth to Porlock road, you will see a pub (Culbone Inn?) to your right; imminently, there is a left hand turn onto a minor road, as the main road veers right. Take this left. Soon, to your left is a parking area, with a little sign and information board for the Culbone Stone:

Dolmen de Penquélenne
Date Added: 8th Aug 2019
Site Type: Burial Chamber or Dolmen
Country: France (Bretagne:Finistère (29))
Visited: Would like to visit
Dolmen de Penquélenne submitted by minteddy on 15th Aug 2012. Lessons to all megalithic monument hunters. (1) Accept kind offers of locals to show you where monument is - I didn't. (2)Be wary of looking for monumdents when the maize is high - I didn't. (3) Take a gps and reference with you - I didn't. This monument is about 50 metres into the field of maize so almost impossible to find in high maize

Dolmen de Penquer-Bloas
Trip No.13 Entry No.29 Date Added: 9th Aug 2019
Site Type: Burial Chamber or Dolmen
Country: France (Bretagne:Finistère (29))
Visited: Yes on 9th Aug 2019. My rating: Condition 3 Ambience 4 Access 4
Dolmen de Penquer-Bloas submitted by thecaptain on 8th Dec 2006. Sometimes described as an allée couverte, this looks to me to be a simple dolmen still mostly within its mound, but it is unsure exactly what this was originally.
It's in a little woodland area, beside an industrial stoneworking site, so its possibly lucky it has survived at all.
It suffers badly from neglect, and has lots of rubbish strewn around.
