The cairn at the top of the northern rows is about 9m in diameter, and is surrounded by a lovely ring of 15 stone slabs. It is possible that there is another ring of stones still present within the cairn.
This is the view to the west, looking down the double row.

Log Text: Was on a walk on a sunny day inbtween hart tor and black tor than back to princetown. As i was walking down the hill frorm hart tor toward black tor two cairns come in to veiw then it hits you one has a circle and both have they own stone row or rows. This was a lovely site to visit.

Log Text: Was very easy to find, just beside the road and a hop over the farmers fence. Its worth taking your time to have look round this field as the is several cairn's and a burial tome to be found also a crannog in the loch not far away in plain site

This chambered cairn has got to be seen to be believed, like most cairns it as been robbed out with two of the chambered capstones laying on the outside to the south east with most of the spoil laying on the west side of the cairn and contributing to half its size again. This must have been a very large and impressive monument before the tomb robbers got their hand on it.
If you ever visit this site you will notice that the cairn itself is on its own platform raised ...
