Cosdon Hill Cairn Circle, Dartmoor, Devon SX643916 On a flatter shelf of land on the eastern side of Cosdon Hill are the splendid remains of a cairn and treble stone row. The remains of the cairn at the uphill end of the rows is approx 8 metres in diameter, and has been substantially messed about with. St Ruan's Well (Ruan Lanihorne) submitted by celticmaiden55 on 11th Nov 2012. A view from the front of St Ruan Lanihorne Holy Well, it is starting to crumble on the inner walls and there is a lot of sediment on the floor of the well, my wellington boot sank and I had to really pull to get it out so not sure how deep it is.The surrounding area is well tended, although you need to clamber under a wire fence to get in to see it close.
