St Ruan's Well (Ruan Lanihorne) submitted by celticmaiden55 on 11th Nov 2012. A view from the front of St Ruan Lanihorne Holy Well, it is starting to crumble on the inner walls and there is a lot of sediment on the floor of the well, my wellington boot sank and I had to really pull to get it out so not sure how deep it is.The surrounding area is well tended, although you need to clamber under a wire fence to get in to see it close. Goodaver submitted by celticmaiden55 on 10th Jun 2018. Goodaver stone circle with 23 stones still standing. We visited on a dry but hazy day in June 18. We trecked through the Halvana Plantation which in itself is a very pleasant and easy walk about 2.5K each way. Well worth a visit and we encourage more people to see this virtually unknown circle in Cornwall. We saw no-one all day! (View photo, vote or add a comment )
