Three Shires Stones submitted by coin on 27th Feb 2011. A picture of the stone. There are small foot holes cut into the pillar that faces the road. Inside there seems to be a minature version of the structure which you can sit on.

Penmon Priory and Church

Penmon Priory and Church submitted by TimPrevett on 19th Feb 2005. One of the two Crosses inside Penmon Church. This is in the nave, and taken in very poorly lit conditions; I did not have my tripod with me, so this was one of a number attempts at getting a decent picture! See main entry for more details.

National Museum of Scotland submitted by TimPrevett on 22nd Feb 2009. The entrance to the National Museum of Scotland; I only had 40 minutes to zoom around here before closing (having been distracted by the fantastic Greyfriars Churchyard opposite). What I saw was very good, and very family friendly. Edinburgh is one of the most amazing cities I have been to, so a return visit will be in order sometime!
