Adam's Graves Round Barrows 1 submitted by twentytrees on 29th Jul 2006. Nice barrow. Nice place - an absoltue must for anyone wanting to capture the feel of the place. Go to the top of Adam's Grave or Knapp Hill and you can see for miles.

Aucheneck submitted by custer on 31st Aug 2012. On top of a low hill over looking Loch Lomond underneath the Whangie. Hard to find in the bracken and heather, is found north of the Cairn Burn not south.

Log Text: Beautiful spot low hill looking down to Loch Lomond in the north. Rowan tree growing out of the stones, large entry stones appear to be on the eastern end. physically slumped in several areas. Trudged through boggy field down from the whangie (a natural rock formation) which overlooks this area adding to the ambience following the forest fenceline.

Log Text: Always a great place to visit. Notice something different each time. Some of the stones are enormous .The earth ditch is awe inspiring. Must be a fantastic sight from the air.
