Parys Mountain submitted by guile on 22nd Apr 2010. Cairns shaft windmill built 1878, unique on Anglesey in that it had 5 sails. The only wind driven pump left existing in Britain.

Trearddur standing stone submitted by guile on 21st Apr 2010. This stone is heavily overgrown from the windmill side, and is easily missed. It has splendid views across Anglesey and in particular of Ynys Leurad.

Tre-Gwehelydd submitted by guile on 20th Apr 2010. Standing in splendid isolation, this stone has been repaired using bronze bands, ashlar and bolts.
What happened to cause this damage?
The access was very good, I will be returning to this stone in the near future.
