Penarth submitted by hamish on 11th Nov 2004. This is as close as I could get, you can see the herd of young cattle on the right well they didn't take too kindly to me so I hopped back over the hedge. The farmer was happy for me to risk my life but I declined his invite. He was though very informative about the area.

Country: Wales (Anglesey)
Visited: Yes on 24th Jan 2005
Perthiduon submitted by hamish on 24th Jan 2005. It was a nice walk through the fields, four in all, could have missed it quite easily. I always find these to be quite poignant, little left to show the effort the ancestors used to erect them.

Redland Park
Date Added: 12th Jan 2011
Site Type: Standing Stone (Menhir)
Country: England (Gloucestershire)
Visited: Yes on 9th May 2004

Redland Park submitted by Hamish on 9th May 2004. Redland Park Bristol. ST579749.
This stone lies here unnoticed by passers daily. I for one remember it as a useful resting place on my way home after drinking sessions in my student days, and it never crossed my mind that it was a sarsen stone. There were reputedly at least two stone circles in this area but this is all that remains. There is however a large similar stone at the Canowie Road end of the park but this is iffy.

Country: Wales (Gwynedd)
Visited: Yes on 18th Sep 2005
Rhoslan submitted by hamish on 18th Sep 2005. This is a short walk from the road, I was a little worried about the ladies in the field with some young. I have had some worrying moments in Wales. The Burial Chamber is just off the footpath and seems quite secure despite a crack in one of the uprights.

Sancreed Well submitted by hamish on 31st May 2005. This place is known locally as the Crone Well, I like to think the oracle or Guardian of the well lived here when they weren't burned for their knowledge. It is glorious at this time of the year, nature going riot.

Shealwalls
Date Added: 12th Jan 2011
Site Type: Stone Circle
Country: Scotland (Perth and Kinross)
Visited: Yes on 22nd Jun 2005

Shealwalls submitted by hamish on 22nd Jun 2005. I had just been to Park Neuk and thought I would try and find this circle. So drive past Newton of Bamff going towards the B954, there is quite a dip in the road. Park here and go through the gate on the left, follow the footpath to the right. At the top of the slope walk for about 150mtrs keeping a lookout to the right and nestled in the long grass is this little "four poster"?? There aren't any other stones around so hopefully this is it. It is very difficult to locate.
