Go to Carnkie on the south side of Carn Brea and take a narrow and sometimes bumpy lane to the top,there is plenty of parking spots.Between the restaurant and the monument are some amazing rock formations.
These may be Neolithic or just wind and rain scoured but works of art just the same.

Take the B3297 Helston road from Redruth.Approx 1 mile from the Polgear Farm there is a sort of layby on the righthand side of the road,opposite there is a public footpath sign.Go over the stile and follow the hedge to an opening,there you will see the circle-part of which is incorporated in the hedge itself.

About one and a half miles up the Radstock road A362 , just before you reach Buckland Dinham look for Murtry Hill Lane. Follow this till you reach Murtrey Hill Farm. Park by the field gate on the right,you have to walk the hedge line and at the end there are the stones. It is a good idea to ask the Farmers permission,which he readily gives. He can also tell you something about the stones. ...
