The largest preserved capstone measures appr. 4,1m x 2,7m. This capstone is supported by two orthostats of the southeastern longside. This megalithic grave is called Gevasteine, too. Geva was the wife of Duke Widukind, a famous saxon leader who fighted bloody battles against Emperor Carl the Great (Francs) around 780 A.D. (compare with hunebed Germany #909 Karlsteine) Geva was a sister of King Harold I. of Haithabu, a Viking Kingdom, located in todays State of Schleswig-Holstein near the Danish border. Legend say...

Largely overgrown with ferns, but with a good amount of the tumulus still visible, which however blocks view of uprights. End stone, appears to have rolled down tumulus, but makes a nice bench.
