Combeynart statue-menhir submitted by theCaptain on 18th Nov 2010. This is a very tall thin male statue-menhir which stands just over 2 metres tall, but only 40 cm width. Many of his features are equally scrawny. Legs, belt and "objet" can be made out but the rest is a bit of a jumble.

The menhirs of "Les Deux Soeurs" (the Two Sisters) are standing along the road at the entrance of the town of Lacabarède's . 2 legends exist: the first says that menhirs mark the place of a Gallic temple dedicated to the Celtic god Hérus; second legend says that the day when the two menhirs (which are at a distance of 2 meters of each other one) are reunited, it will be the end of the world.
