Located to the north-east of Barbrook stream and reservoir, Barbrook III is very difficult to make out, as most of the stones are almost completely overgrown by the moorland grass and partially covered in peat.
The stones, mostly leaning or collapsed, stand in a bank approximately 26m by 23.5m in diameter, making it one of the largest circles in the Peak District. The bank is broken by three gaps, with one to the east-north-eas...

Bryn Celli Ddu submitted by ericgrindle on 22nd Feb 2015. The Site is clearly signposted and only a short walk from the road. It is considered to be one of the finest passage tombs in Wales, The series of photographs will show the entrance, the main passage and chamber. The access to the main chamber being via a tunnel, the sides of which consist of large vertical slabs topped by substantial stone lintels.

One of the finest examples of prehistoric rock art in the Peak District. Discovered in 1965 on a large earthfast boulder 25m east of the enclosure , the design consists of a series of cup and ringmarks together with a small spiral and two circles that enclose multiple cupmarks. Situated on the promontory at the east side of Rozel Bay in the NE corner of jersey, roofed with seven capstones and surrounded by 18 upright stones. It dates from approximately 3000BC and was covered with a long mound, but now is completely exposed as a result of poor excavation in the last century. The conglomerate stones form a rectangular chamber 8m long and 0.9m wide and 0.9m high, surrounding it is a rectangular enclosure. When it was excavated, potsherds and flints were found. Le Mont Ubé submitted by Adam Stanford on 25th Nov 2004. Situated at the top of a short, snaking footpath up the side of a steep wooded slope. This Dolmen is completely open with no mound or capstones, the chamber is 12.3m long and 1.7m high with its widest section being 7.2m. 28 uprights still stand, forming a passage into the burial chamber, which is similar to the tomb at La Hougue Bie.
