Menevegar Menhir

Menevegar Menhir submitted by Bladup on 27th Jul 2016. Menevegar Menhir. Bloody quarries made it be moved and it also didn't need the silly plaque putting directly onto the stone. It should have been put on the rocks below the stone really.

Giant's Rock, Zennor

Giant's Rock, Zennor submitted by JimChampion on 8th Sep 2006. August 2006. View of the Giant's Rock, taken with camera held at arms length above head height. The right of way that leads to the rock from the village of Zennor is an unusual dead-end bridleway. The last 20 metres (or so) is now an impassable mass of brambles and bushes, preventing you from getting anywhere near the rock.

Our Lady of Nance

Our Lady of Nance submitted by theendlessbreeze on 11th Jun 2004. Grid Ref: SW870604 Location: Near Mountjoy, Cornwall As in the case of many holy wells, this one was difficult to find! From Newquay take the A392 to St Columb Road, past Quintrell Downs and then take the turning to the left just before Mountjoy to Lady Nance. Follow this road and take the first turning to the right down a lane. Here you will find a collection of cottages. The well is located in some undergrowth just off the lane, to the right of the first house you see.

Piskey’s Hall – The Fairy’s Fogou
