This stone is located in the church and has both ogham script and a latin translation on it. It dates from 5-7 Century C.E and reads:
C IACIT VLCAGNI.
There is also another stone in the Churchyard.

A neolithic Scillonian entrance grave 7.6 metres across. It has a north-west facing chamber which measures 4 metres x 3.3 metres and roofed by 3 partly exposed capstones. The entrance is restricted in width by 2 low jambstones.
The front of the tomb fast succumbing to forces of nature!
