St Nectan's Glen submitted by Thorgrim on 29th Nov 2003. St Nectan's Glen has been described as amongst the ten most important spiritual sites in the country. (SX080885)
There never was a St Nectan, the name is a Christianised form of the Cornish water god - Nechtan. The way down to the water is steep and slippery, but so beautiful. Hundreds of clouties, messages and small offerings crowd the minute ledges of the steep sides of the glen. It can only be reached on foot, but it is well worth the effort.

Stowe's Pound submitted by TheCaptain on 14th Sep 2017. Stones from Stowe's Pound on Bodmin Moor, Cornwall, are being used to build the "fairy stacks" by people "probably unaware" they are breaking the law. The stacks have been described as "historic vandalism".
