Log Text: The view from the road is very misleading as you can't see the barrow because the height is less than the surrounding scrub.

Revesby Barrows submitted by Arjessa on 18th Apr 2016. Two Round Barrows on private farmland adjacent to the A155 at Revesby, Lincolnshire, can be viewed up close from verge but land in private. Map shows more round barrows to be amongst the trees and are not visible. These two Round Barrows appear to be connected by a low tunnel.

Log Text: Not That easy to find as the stones were covered in ivy and brambles. Managed to clear some of the ivy from some of the stones but would really need to go better equipped to clear away the brambles.
Flagstaff Hill

Flagstaff Hill submitted by richbaber on 14th May 2015. Flagstaff Hill stone circle

Log Text: Well I really don't think that this is the remains of a stone circle. It is an interesting hillside with lots of lumps and bumps but it appears to be made up of old stone walls and green lanes. The 12 stones mentioned here are aligned and appear to run along a lane which if you walk to the boundary of the neighbouring property continues on the other side of the fence and has large stones running down its sides.

Peyre d'Ermale submitted by thecaptain on 7th Dec 2005. Peyre d'Ermale.
I had no idea what this is meant to be and indeed no idea whether this is the proper megalithic remains! Later I find out that this is indeed the remains of a megalithic burial chamber (dolmen a bit incorrect perhaps). And that there is also a menhir nearby.

Country: France (Aquitaine:Dordogne (24))
Visited: Yes on 1st Sep 2018
Pierre Plantée (Lisle) submitted by theCaptain on 17th Jan 2011. As I was driving south along the D78 road coming into Lisle, I saw a sign saying Pierre Plantée and there was a stone about a metre high stood just by the roadside.
I cant be sure whether this is the actual Pierre Plantée referred to or indeed whether it is ancient but it isn’t new !

Log Text: It is difficult to be sure as the coordinates given here are for a location in a garden in the village of Breuil. The owner of the property knew nothing about a dolmen but other locals seemed to think that there was one down a track a little way from the village. We investigated and found two separate piles of huge stones either both or neither of which I am prepared to believe is a dolmen. I include pictures of both and their coordinates a short distance apart along the same track.
