Penmaen Burrows
Date Added: 14th Mar 2011
Site Type: Chambered Tomb
Country: Wales (West Glamorgan)
Visited: Yes on 1st Dec 2006

Penmaen Burrows submitted by paulcall on 1st Dec 2006. Found 400metres down a track south-east from Penmaen village towards Threecliff Bay. It is quite ruined, and not mentioned in the otherwise comprehensive 'The Ancient Stones of Wales' by Chris barber and John Williams. However, it is marked clearly on O.S. map 159, but I found it surprisingly tricky to find when I visited.

Skomer Stone submitted by paulcall on 5th Oct 2008. Can anyone identify this stone for me? I took it in Pembrokeshire on a family holiday many years ago. I think it may be Harolds Stone on Skomer. Anyone agree?
