Log Text: At a distance I could see a car parked close to the tomb. I was curious if I was to meet an archaeological interested person there. After a walk over the harvested field I found a couple who picked blackberries, it proved to be the owner's son and his wife.
At first they pretended not to know that this is a protected site, but when I pointed to the FM (protected site) stone, it turned out they knew. However, since it all was totally overgrown with blackberries bushes it really wasn't possible to shoot pictures of the passage grave.

Basically it was much too dark to shoot pictures here, for what reason the camera insisted on using flash that only leave a few stones lit and darkness in the rest of the picture. For that reason I instead shoot at ISO 3200

Visited on a dark, wet and rainy day. At a nearby farm there was a lot of loud sounding shootings. Maybe on these last days of August they're preparing their riffels for the opening of the duck hunt season on September the first.
Even if this tomb was very overgrown with hostile nettles I really liked the looks of the barrow. It's almost as if the overgrowth adds to the charm ...

Visited on a dark and rainy day in the southern part of Denmark where many of the fields now are more or less flooded and where some of the farmers lost otherwise good crops for millions of DKK per farmer. A sad situation.
In my opinion this is an instructive Passage Grave, i.e. it's partly open/partly full intact gives a good view on how these Pagge Graves are constructed. Apparently the open part has been completely missing, for what reason the archeological authorities has placed new but similar stones which must have been here originally. The reconstructional new stones all has a metal nail mounted to indicate that these are reconstructed new parts.

Log Text: On some trees the letters KUAS are seen. I think it means something Archealogy Study at University of Copenhagen. The Panoramio photo doesn't show this tomb but the larger nearby Kong Grøns Langhøj.

Log Text: On private ground. Ask for permission before entering. Due to heavy overgrowth this time of year it's virtually impossible to shoot photos here.
The owner claim the tomb is taken good care of in the wintertime when the overgrowth is gone.
