Log Text: It's a scandal that such an otherwise excellent prehistoric burial site in excellent nature on the peak of a small cliff can be neglected that bad that this burial site is. It's totally overgrown with brambless, and therefore I only could take photos of a few details after having cleared me a few ways into the wilderness.
Due to the overgrowth I could not determine if part of this burial site already has been eaten by the sea, or if the situation is that it could happen any minute now.
This site deserves a much better fate, something radical needs to be done here in all respects, and it needs to be done now.
The coordinates given points to a bare spot in a field, the real coordinates of the position should point to the bush area some 65 meters away and be more like: 54.989367 10.800883

Log Text: When I arrived at the site two men were working with wood chopping equipment pretty close to where the Hellekiste was supposed to be. Since I could'nt see anything I could imagine for a Hellekiste close by, I asked the men if they knew where the Hellekiste were situated. One of the men said he had no idea as well as he wasn't familiar with this area. The other - younger - man suggested that it was situated in the other end of the forrest.
After having carried out an extensive search nearby, where I found nothing, I returned and discovered that right there where the men were working there was a big square stone as well as some other stones covered under some cut off branches that probably could be the Hellekiste. Only that most of it was covered with cut off branches and the mens wood chopping equipment and oil cans and hand tools.
I told the men that it was illegal to do their kind of work so close to this Hellekiste, as well as it was illegal to place their tools and oil and so on, on the stones. They claimed they didn't have a clue, and that they only were there in order to fetch some wood they've bought.

Log Text: When I first was looking at it from the road I was disappointed and didn't expect much. But, when I climbed up the mound I was taken by surprise - an open burial chamber and the associated passage way to it.

Log Text: Probably the largest capstone I ever have come across. And so far the most dense and heavy overgrowth of Brambleberries scrub. It's a shame that an otherwise excellent burial site is hidden under all that scrub!

Log Text: This is one of the ancient burial places that basically is in a good shape, and has a splendid ambience, but where much of it in the winther time is covered with broken off branches from the trees.
It must be a great place to visit in the summer time.
