Log Text: Brilliant atmospheric site in a beautiful location, with views of Hoy and the surrounding islands. There is a car park by the road, then access is via a walk up hill along a relatively well kept path through the peat landscape. We crawled inside the stone and tested out the acoustics by singing! The historic graffiti is clearly visible. Really interesting site.

Although the three programmes were initially for History Hit TV subscribers, the full series can now be viewed by all as a single, two-hour long documentary.
