Rimbeck submitted by Martin_L on 27th Sep 2017. Rimbeck gallery grave. The chamber is more than halfways filled with earth. The capstones have been robbed. Remains of at least 150 indiviuals were found inside it (Götze et al. 1906/07). The building material has been moved here for at least 3,5km. April 2012

Varnenum submitted by Flickr on 28th Sep 2017. Varnenum 1 Gallo-roman temple on a higher plain nearby Kornelimünster (Aachen, Germany) with wide vista to the Eifel. It was consecrated to the god Varnenum and Goddess Sunuxsal, and it was the central cult place of the Sunici people (the remains of the Eburones mixed with other tribes between Rhine and Meuse?) Kergadiou menhirs submitted by thecaptain on 8th Jul 2006. The two giant menhirs of Kergadiou are a fine place to visit, and fairly easily found in a field a couple of kilometres north of the Aber Ildut estuary in furthest western Brittany.
