Great Oak Stone submitted by virtualuser on 27th Jan 2018. The Great Oak Stone, situated in a field in Crickhowell Powys. Coflein the online database for the National Monuments Record of Wales (NMRW) states their was once an inscription on the stone "1844", It is thought to have served as a boundary mark also believed to signal the site of a chambered tomb.
