Karensmose Wonneshøj Langdysse submitted by sba_dk on 15th Sep 2022. Long barrow, 52 meters long, 22 meters wide with 5 curb stones to the east, 26 to the south, 3 to the west, and 6 to the north. The setting of the stones is irregular due to several excavations and earth removals. There is also remains of a chamber.
The local name Vonneshøj means Odin's Hill (Odin was the the king among the Nordic Gods; in England known as Woden; in Germany known as Wotan.)

Brandsbøl Skov Langdysse 2 submitted by holger_rix on 19th Jun 2010. Long Barrow, 1,75 x 15 x 40 m (north-south).
In the middle of the barrow a Passage Grave.
Polygonal chamber with 8 uprights and 2 big capstones.
A small 0.4 - 0.5m passage has been build from the west side of the barrow,
with two pairs of uprights.
At the northern end of the barrow is another chamber: a dolmen with
2 uprights on the long sides and single stones on the short.
Chamber's size 1.75m x 0.9m, the capstone is missing.
The long barrow still got some 50 of it's kerbstones...

Ken Williams makes the first find of megalithic art in County Limerick at the wonderful Late Neolithic embanked stone circle at Grange, Lough Gur. Ken writes: I just dropped by when passing yesterday and discovered one or the stones has beautiful megalithic art, previously unrecorded.
The style and technique used seems most like passage tomb art c. 3,200-2,900BC, or a small number of carved stones with unusual designs that seem to fit somewhere between the Neolithic and Bronze Age.
