Gottrupel Grabhuegelgruppe submitted by holger_rix on 18th Nov 2007. A group of Round Barrows near Flensburg.
The area is called 'Naturerlebnisraum', a nature preserve. I didn't enjoy
it because it was late and a grey as grey can be day.
But this place is well worth a visit, there are two groups of Round Barrows, a Dolmen, and a mighty tumulus further north.

Felsbækgård Husbjerg Runddysse submitted by sba_dk on 20th May 2022. A small disturbed barrow, 1.5 meters tall and 13 meters wide. There are no stones on the top, but a hole that may have been a chamber. Only a few stones at the rim.

In short.
One day a young farmer missed one of his cows, a white one. He looked for it inside this forest. There he met the goddess 'Harke'... and fall in love. She explained to him, that he has to die if he wanted to love her. He couldn't resist, but he asked her for a good burial. She promised to bury him so safely, nobody would be able to disturb his peace.
So it happened, and when his friends looked after him, they found this big stone.

The contrasts in the carvings are stunning: An angel on the lying gravestone, and Our Saviour and the murder scene on the upright atonement stone.

Feldsted Skov Grævlingehøj submitted by sba_dk on 27th May 2022. Grævlingehøj (badger's hill) is a round barrow 1.25 by 12 meters in a private wood called Syvmandsskov. A large hole in the middle contains 2 large stones from the chamber. There are 3 large rim-stones.

Ken Williams makes the first find of megalithic art in County Limerick at the wonderful Late Neolithic embanked stone circle at Grange, Lough Gur. Ken writes: I just dropped by when passing yesterday and discovered one or the stones has beautiful megalithic art, previously unrecorded.
The style and technique used seems most like passage tomb art c. 3,200-2,900BC, or a small number of carved stones with unusual designs that seem to fit somewhere between the Neolithic and Bronze Age.
