Meiros could derive from the Welsh meirw, thus meaning Mountain of the Dead.
To the right can be seen another structure which appears to have gone unnoticed by the archaeos.

As described by Trump "Between the two temples and a little to the west is an irregular group of blocks, clearly megalithic but the shape of the structure they originally formed part of is now beyond recovery."
