Bannau Sir Gaer

Bannau Sir Gaer submitted by sem on 6th Mar 2005. It's cold and windy here, from which I conclude that Neolithic man did not carry out his ceremonies naked (unless he was made of sterner stuff than me).

Morfa Bychan

Morfa Bychan submitted by sem on 21st Aug 2006. Only the uprights remain from this chamber, but there are many candidates for the capstone lying nearby. This site is very reminiscent of King's Quoit in nearby Manorbier with a line of stones, in this case natural, behind the chamber.

Carnau'r Garreg Las

Carnau'r Garreg Las submitted by sem on 17th Aug 2010. From a distance the twin cairns resemble the double peak of Pen y Fan, which is not visible from this area. Could this have been intentional?
