Carrowreagh submitted by smithpaul on 4th Aug 2013. This Standing Stone was located on the other side of the road from the first. There were also a number of large old looking rocks dumped beside a stone wall.

Log Text: Stone Circle must be long gone, only two Standing Stones in the vicinity, but they are both fine stones both about 7ft tall.

Log Text: One of about 6 standing stones situated in-between the coast road from westport to Louisburgh and the sea all of which are accessible with a bit of a walk.
The stones vary in height from about 3 feet to 7 feet tall and were possibly territorial markers.
