Silbury Hill submitted by southdownsancientsites on 24th Dec 2018. This aerial photograph was taken in late July 2007 during the work by English Heritage to stabilise the hill following the collapse of the 1776 vertical excavation shaft.
This image was not taken by me but I have written permission to use it in whichever way I want.
