The solstice night is very short, but when you're waiting for the sun to rise, it gives plenty of opportuntiy to experiment with photos! I took this photo around 2am, in the middle of the solstice night. The moon was shining very brightly casting beautiful moonlight shadows, it felt very magical. I turned up my ISO rating to catch as much light as I could, and set the timer for 30 seconds. This is the result. I know its a grainy picture, and rather odd, but the b...

Madron Well submitted by enkidu41 on 24th Aug 2004. The light coming through the canopy creates a wonderful atmosphere - on a sunny day at least! The stones comprising the well can be seen round the back edge of the circumference.
