At the southeastern end, in a lowpoint before the ground rises again, there seems to be a single, fairly large triangular shaped stone placed across the central or northern row, which may once have been a blocking stone marking the proper end of the monument.

Siward's Cross submitted by TheCaptain on 21st Nov 2010. The northern side and western face of this nice old cross, believed to date back to late Saxon, early medieval times.
On the western face are the words “Boc Lond” which presumably relate to Buckland, or Book Land, connected to the monks of Buckland Abbey.

This is an oval shaped enclosure, approximately 50m by 30m which is defined by large stone walls, which nowadays make up a fallen structure about 3 metres wide by up to a metre high. Many upright stones can be seen within the walled structure.

Down Tor cairn

About 50 metres to the northwest of the beautiful cairn circle, around the edge of the hillside, is the remains of another cairn, 14 metre diameter and more than a metre high. There are no signs of any kerb stones or structure within the cairn.

Mont Dol is a large granite rock outcrop, dramatically jutting up through the flat coastal marshlands of the Baie de Mont St-Michel to the north of the ancient city of Dol-de-Bretagne, and in some ways is rather like Mont St-Michel itself, although nowadays completely enclosed within farmed lands.

I didn’t think I was going to be able to find this as the area it’s in is all covered by fern and bracken, but it was quite obvious once I got near. The cairn is well formed, about 7 metres in diameter about a metre tall with the expected hollow in the top.

This is a nice ring cairn about 12 metres diameter, with a clear ring of stones and rubble surrounding a flat platform within it. There seems to be remnants of a kerb in places.

This is a fairly large and prominent round cairn, about 14 metres diameter and 1.5 metres tall. However, I wasn't going to look too closely, as there were some stroppy looking guard cows staring me down!

Fox Tor stone setting submitted by TheCaptain on 31st Aug 2010. On the southeastern slopes of Fox Tor, above Redmoor Marsh, a stone setting is marked on the RCHM Bodmin Moor survey.
I am not sure what to make of this, a couple of large side set slabs about 1.5 metres tall, with perhaps many other smaller ones around them.
