Log Text: So incredible. Did some tours talking about the Aboriginal heritage, cycled around the rock, and sat on top of our car to watch it at sunset. Beautiful, amazing to see it up close. I did get a terrible splinter at the campsite and screamed and cried but this is overshadowed by gorgeous Uluru <3 (I note the name here should really be changed)

Avebury

Date Added: 12th Feb 2025
Site Type: Stone Circle Country: England (Wiltshire)
Visited: Yes on 19th Jun 2011

Avebury

Avebury submitted by creators on 27th May 2005. I have been reluctant to submit this picture because it is a composite, taken on the same day in the same place but still a composite. It is AngieLake's exquisitely named 'receptors' hands receiving the moon and a picture I love. So a composite done tenderly of Avebury that is at my very heart.

Log Text: Went in 2011 with my family, my dad showed us the way. This was before there was a fence around it. I'm pretty sure I remember climbing under wire fences and through brambles to get there. Would love to go back some day. I was 9 and my sister was 7.
