is located in the baltic region of Germany. Dolmen Vogelsang is a low cairn like mound with six dislocated large rocks on it. The area given by these rocks is close to 3 by 5 meters. This should be nearly the former chamber size. No evidence of a capstone here. Many head size rocks are scattered around this site. In the 19th century loads of stones where quarried from here for road and house building. This activity gave the site its current look. I am glad that this site has ...

Schalenstein Wodarg submitted by weldersdog- on 15th Apr 2024. This cupmarked stone is located near the river Tollense. I lost count at around 30 cupmarks. I have not removed any of the mosses on the rock so i think there are at least 40 cupmarks to find. They are not very deep and of "normal" size. In this area are numerous large boulders to find. All i have inspected so far do not show any cupmarks. But i have not seen them all yet.

Log Text: This small neolithic burial mound seems to be unspoiled. Condition 5. Ambience can not be measured (out of any range). The landscape seen from this point is unreal.

Liepen Steingrab (5) submitted by weldersdog- on 2nd Apr 2023. This 25 meter long stone row runs perfectly S-N. At the south end a single stone runs perfectly east.
In the middle a stone row is pointing east with a large stone 3.5 meters east from the main row.
The largest stone on this site is only 90 by 60 cm. The similarity tot he nearby site „Barkvieren Steingrab 3“ is very interesting.

Log Text: Very good example for a simple dolmen. The flat capstone is not often seen here. The cupmarks are impressiv. Sadly the capstone out of soft sandstone is eroding day by day.
