Men-An-Tol | Holed Stone | England | Cornwall | Visited | 8th Mar 2017 | 4 | 4 | 4 | Been here a few times and remember the napalm attack:) Another place you can be reasonably alone outside the tourist season. Some more great video opportunities here. Not overlooked but have found people eating lunch on the stones which wasn't resipectfull.
Merry Maidens (Circle) | Stone Circle | England | Cornwall | Visited | 8th Mar 2017 | 4 | 4 | 4 | Easy to get to but it is over looked and you may be being watched. Look out for the pipers in the field on the other side of the road. Usually have the place to yourself - out of tourist season.
Kenidjack Common holed stones | Stone Row / Alignment | England | Cornwall | Visited | 14th Mar 2010 | 4 | 3 | 3 | Worth vising if you go to Carn Kenijack (Park on road and walk up the oft muddy farm track). There's a stone circle on the right which can be seen from the Carn. Walk further on to the right of the Carn and you find them. Fun video opportunities here. |
