Drizzlecombe menhir 1 submitted by SandyG on 28th Sep 2014. The stone row is overlooked by the Giant's Hill enclosed prehistoric settlement. It is this type of survival that makes Dartmoor such a special place. Plenty to ponder and inspire.

Log Text: Car parking is available at SX 56873 69307. From here walk along the track towards Middleworth. At SX 57478 69041 head up the hill towards Down Tor. Before reaching the top turn and walk east to the row. Well worth the effort.

Log Text: Limited road verge car parking is available at SN 72829 83600. From here walk up the farm track to SN 72866 83754. Head east following the fence and cross the small stream. The ground is very uneven so take care. Once across the stream head south east towards the row.
