The stone itself is on a steep hillside and appears to have been broken many years ago and I suspect a large amount is still buried beneath the ground.

It is a nice site, very quiet and a great spot to sit with a bovril on a cold January morning.

Easy to access and worth a visit. Lots of the nooks and crannies are filled with coins and other offerings. The smaller fallen stone is easily found embedded in the dry stone wall. | ||

The are only 2 stones, what looks like the topstone and one other. They are a rich brown colour fairly rare for thus area which has a lot of granite. | ||
